Affiliate disclosure
novatren.online is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works, so that you can read the rest of the site knowing where the money comes from.
The short version
Some pages on this site contain partner links. If you follow one and buy something, the vendor's affiliate programme pays COSMOS CLUB s.r.o. a commission. You pay the same price you would have paid if you had gone to the vendor directly. The commission comes out of the vendor's margin, not out of your pocket.
How you can tell which links are commercial
We label them four times over, because one label is easy to miss:
- A bar at the very top of the page, above everything else, on any page carrying partner links.
- A disclosure box immediately under the headline, before any promotional content. No commercial link appears anywhere above it, including in the page source.
- A visible “Partner link” label printed inside every button, including buttons in sidebars.
- A note directly beneath every button saying that we earn a commission and that it costs you nothing extra.
Technically, every commercial link carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is how
search engines are told the link is paid. Pages with no partner links say so explicitly.
What the commission does not buy
- It does not buy the verdict. Our main buyer's guide links to a product and also states, above the fold, that the product does not include a VPN and covers a single device — two facts a commission-maximising page would leave out.
- It does not buy silence. We publish what a product cannot do on the same page that links to it, and we tell readers when free software already on their computer may be enough.
- It does not buy approval rights. No advertiser, vendor or affiliate network sees an article before publication or has any right of review over it.
- It does not buy a rating. We publish no scores, no stars, no badges and no testimonials of any kind.
- It does not buy your data. We pass no personal data to any advertiser, because we collect none. See below.
What happens technically when you click a partner link
A partner link points at a short bridge address on this site (under /c/), which forwards
you to the vendor or to the affiliate network's tracking address. The only thing that bridge does is
carry forward campaign parameters that were already present in the address you arrived on — for
example a utm_source or a click identifier — so that the click can be attributed to
the right campaign.
- No cookie is set by us, at any point, including on the bridge page.
- Nothing is written to your browser's storage by us.
- We do not log or store your click, and we receive no personal data back from the vendor or the network — only aggregate commission reporting that does not identify individual readers.
- Once you leave this site, the vendor's and the network's own privacy and cookie practices apply, not ours. They are separate companies and we do not control them. Read their policies before buying.
The bridge is excluded from search engines by robots.txt.

Regulatory basis
This disclosure is made in order to comply with, among others, Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161, which requires that the commercial intent of a communication be identifiable; Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce and Czech Act No. 480/2004 Coll., which require commercial communications to be clearly recognisable as such; and the disclosure requirements of the advertising platforms on which we advertise.
